Partnerships with Churches are central and essential to the ministry of Toronto City Mission. We hope that you will consider partnering with us as we demonstrate God’ s love to underprivilaged families in the city of Toronto.
HOW DOES TCM ADD VALUE TO THE PARTNERING CHURCH?
- TCM has years of experience/expertise in ministering to disadvantaged families in our city
- TCM is called to encourage/equip churches for outreach
- TCM has a comprehensive Risk Management Policy
- TCM can provide volunteer opportunities to partnering church members
- TCM may provide access to communities/share in established relationships
- TCM can aid in building a vision for a particular community
- TCM’s new measurement tools!
- TCM has staff person living in 5 communities in the city of Toronto.
- TCM has year long interns and field placement students.
- TCM can potentially help fund programs as TCM has access to corporations/foundations that churches would not have access to
HOW DOES THE PARNTERING CHURCH ADD VALUE TO TCM?

- Discipleship/Prayer: Churches provide a place for TCM program participants to worship/fellowship

HOW WILL PARTNERSHIPS WORK? CRITERIA’S FOR PARTNERSHIP
- The church will be asked to abide by TCM’s Policies and Regulations: Risk Management, Statement of Faith, Ministry Guidelines, Lifestyle Expectations, all day camp policies/procedures
- Strategic Vision: Does the partnership make sense?
- Time Frame: Be willing to partner in long term planning (3-5 years minimum)
