Jesse Ketchum

The borders of Jesse Ketchum are Dupont Avenue to the north, Yonge Street to the east, Avenue Road to the west, and Bloor Street to the south. It is within the University-Rosedale ward so a large portion of the population is affluent, as evidenced by the smaller community of Yorkville within Jesse Ketchum. However, there are pockets of the population that experience low income or are affected by poverty. According to the City of Toronto 2016 Census, 39% of the population still earns less than $49 999. 20.2% of the population lives with low income, and in certain areas of the community, child poverty rates are as high as 44.7%.
