Toronto City Mission Volunteer Contract
As a volunteer with Toronto City Mission (TCM) I agree to perform my duties under the supervision of the appointed staff representative. I will respect the mission and values of the organization and will observe the standards set out in the volunteer guidelines as well as other TCM policies and procedures that pertain to my role.
I understand that failure to abide by TCM policies and guidelines will result in supervisory action which may include suspension or dismissal.
I have read and understand the contents of the Risk Management Manual of Toronto City Mission and agree to comply with the rules and regulations therein.
At Toronto City Mission’s programs, there will be occasions when photographs, video and other media of participants will be taken. These photos and videos may appear in TCM’s official promotional materials: i.e. newsletters, website, youtube videos, blog articles, in local newspapers, or in other forms of media and might identify participants by first name. We wish to inform you of this in advance in -order to avoid any surprises or misunderstandings.
I realize that there is a three-month probationary period during which I will assess and be assessed on my suitability for the position stated above. If for any reason I am unable to complete my volunteer assignment I will notify either my program supervisor or the Coordinator of Volunteer Resources.
