[On/From] [date(s) on which you are planning to participate in the virtual marathon], I will be participating in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in support of Toronto City Mission (TCM). My goal is to raise $300, which will help children, youth, and families impacted by poverty to participate in preventative programs such as TCM’s Kids In Community (KIC) after-school program and Education Provided In Community (EPIC) tutoring program. One in four children in Toronto are living in poverty; we desire that each child and their families will find hope through Jesus Christ. We believe in training, teaching and mentoring whole families to become leaders in their own communities.

TCM is a non-profit organization that, through God’s transformational power, builds loving relationships to bring hope to children and families impacted by poverty in high priority communities in Toronto. One out of four children in Toronto are living in poverty, TCM desires that each child and their families will find hope through Jesus Christ.

Hello Friend!

The Toronto Waterfront Marathon will be held on October [19 or 20], 2024. I will be [walking/running 5K, Half, Full Marathon] for Toronto City Mission (TCM) [on/from] [date(s) on which you are planning to participate in the virtual marathon]. Once again Toronto City Mission is an official charity partner. Will you help send children impacted by poverty to a Toronto City Mission program? This year, funds raised will help children, youth and families impacted by poverty to participate in TCM’s, Kids In Community (KIC) afterschool program and Education Provided In Community (EPIC) Tutoring. Each $300 raised will help a child participate in these programs for one school year! The goal is to raise $20,000 so that 66 children impacted by poverty can attend programs for free and I’m counting on my circle of friends to help! Your donation today will help families impacted by poverty lead transformed lives.

Your donation will be tax-deductible, but most importantly, you will be bringing the hope of Jesus Christ to children in some of Toronto's most vulnerable communities.
