The borders of Don Valley Village are Van Horne to the north, Shaughnessy to the west, Esterbrooke/Fairview Mall Drive to the south, and 404 to the east. The City of Toronto 2016 Census indicated the population of Don Valley Village was 110,076 and in five years, the population has grown to 113,663 suggesting a 3.3% population growth. The community has a percentage of residents impacted by poverty at 25.5%, compared to the Toronto average of 21.9%, with 23.5% living in low-income households, compared with 20.2% for Toronto.
