Partner Relations Coordinator: Part-Time (24 hours to start)
Toronto City Mission (TCM) is a charitable organization that focuses on building loving relationships to bring hope to children and families impacted by poverty. We help children, youth, and adults rise above poverty by providing preventative programs, building relationships, and raising leaders. Our programs are designed to equip them to make wise choices about school, friends, relationships, work, and the future.
Objective
As part of the Administrative Team, the Partner Relations Coordinator will primarily be responsible for overseeing the partner relations activities to help fulfill Spark|Purposeful Giving by building a community of prayer, volunteer, and financial supporters.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and execute on the annual fundraising plan
Cultivate relationships with new supporters and stewarding existing supporters
Manage existing funders to accomplish or surpass fundraising goals through writing funding proposals
Maintain sponsor/granting relationships and ensure that all reporting, benefits or promises to sponsors are fulfilled
Coordinate the preparation and execution of appeals
Lead the planning and execution of events (SpikeBack, Strikeout, Run for TCM, third-party events, Annual General Meeting, etc.)
Manage donor database
Respond to volunteer inquiries and administer the screening of volunteers for all programs
General office administrative support (i.e. responding to general information email inquiries, mail, etc.)
Commit to raising personal support and helping with program sustainability
Performing other related duties
Requirements:
Committed to personal spiritual growth and the development of an accountability or prayer group. Be an active member of a local church
A post secondary degree or diploma
Prior experience in fundraising for a non-profit organization is an asset
Understanding of budget management
Knowledge of office applications such as Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
Capability to document processes and keep records

Working Conditions:
May entail working in high-stress environments (e.g. when managing several events simultaneously)
Some travel may be required (within the greater Toronto area)
Overtime and hours outside of typical working schedule may be required
Compensation
Salary plus benefits is based on a faith support model. A successful applicant will be required to commit to raising 100% of his/her salary and gather a personal support team.
