Daniel and the Lions Den Craft | Alana | #30DaysofSonshine
Alana first joined TCM as a summer intern at Kingston-Galloway in 2019. During the first half of the camp, the Bible curriculum was based around the story of Daniel. At one point, the leaders had read the story of Daniel and the Lions’ Den. With this in mind, Alana led a craft activity where she taught how to make fun and adorable lions with popsicle sticks. The kids really enjoyed reviewing the story through making this craft.
Here’s how you can do it at home yourself:
What you will need:
Mini Orange Cupcake Liners
Jumbo Craft Sticks
Baking Cups (Cupcake Liners) with various patterns
Black Marker
How to Make the Lion Craft:
To make the lion's mane, flatten the orange cupcake liner and fold in half.
Cut two slits at the top and bottom of the inner circle so that the jumbo craft stick can be inserted through it.
Insert the end of a jumbo craft stick through the slits of the cupcake liner and use a glue stick to glue the craft stick in place.
Draw a face and arms with a pen or permanent marker.
