Summer Intern Reflection: Family Camp in St. James Town
By PJ Trinidad (Summer Intern and camp co-director in St. James Town)
Family Camp is a time to get away from the daily life of the city and just rest in the presence of God while also having fellowship with friends and family. With my time at Family Camp, I started or even deepened relationships within the campers young and old. The theme this year was how to deal with the daily routine of life such as work or school and the stress that comes with all of it. When we are stressed, we tend to forget to have God in that moment and that’s something I’m going to take from Family Camp: that whether we have trials or are going through a really chill day, we need to just soak in God’s presence.
