Every summer, TCM offers Sonshine Day Camp in four of our communities to children who have been impacted by poverty. During Sonshine Day Camp, kids get to join in activities, such as Ripley’s Aquarium, crafts, games, baking, and swimming, that they would not normally be able to experience due to lack of finances. Not only are their summers rich in events, they have the opportunity to learn about Jesus and to develop relationships with positive role models. Our staff, interns and TLCs (Teens Leading Communities) are always ready to love these kids.
In the next 30 days (April 15 - May 15, 2015), our goal is to raise $30,000 to send 300 kids to camp.
Every $100 gift will help send 1 child to camp for 1 week.
